Glad you found the presentation helpful. I would suggest creating a new Linux image as a Bacula server (get the recently release version 1.38 -- it has lots of improvements that make it friendly to mainframe use), and installing the Bacula client on your other Linux guests. If your tape drives are normally owned by z/OS, then use HSM. If you can spare a drive or two to your VM system, Bacula 1.38 understands IBM standard labels now, so you could use the drives directly. Contact me off-list if you need help setting up the Bacula environment. -- db ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
