GUIs, ugh. You can do something like this: rpm -ivh ftp://your.ftp.server/path/to/rpms/new.rpm \ ftp://your.ftp.server/path/to/rpms/second.rpm
Or you can share the CD, do an smbfs mount on your Linux system, and just cd to the directory. My dear customers now want many added products installed. If I use Redhat gui to add/remove packages it wants to load the CD. Slight problem here as it don't have a CD. Installation done via FTP. Is there a way I can tell it to use FTP or can I mount the CD on Windows system. Or how should I tackle this please Crispin Hugo ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
