Hi Folks
I am busy with a SLES9 install but am hitting a problem with
the /var/log/YaST2/y2log ( RAM disk) running out of space.
I am sure this is been caused by the number of disks the install process
is seeing at install time, the disk I am using are spread in the server
frame.
Questions:
-Can I increase the size of the directory structure in memory just after
the install starts (i.e. just pre YAST)
-Can i restrict the dasd range the install will see (with the install
process) otherwise I have to try get disk on a channel set that does not
have as many disks behind it and that might be a problem
Thanks
Gerard Ceruti
