I am not aware of any fax server for zSeries. Of course the big
issue with building such a product is where would you plug the
phone line in?
Software's not a problem: ngetty+ and hylafax, as one would use on a
peecee, should do the job. The serial port's what I was wondering about.
A peecee can share its serial ports under Linux as under OS/2, but if
there's one of them involved I'd just run Linux on it.
