Yes, it does match. You might do an "strace dsmc query session" to see if anything jumps out at you. (If you've never done an strace before, it's quite an experience.)

Just did a check on that; all files are present and accounted for, sir! :-) One thing I'm not sure of: most of the files (including my copy of dsmclientV3.cat) have a mode of 444 and are owned root:root. Does that match the setting of your dsmclientV3.cat?
