All-zero MACs are normal for layer 3 QDIO processing. Since on the real
layer 3 hardware ARP processing is done before the stack sees the
packet, there's really no need to propagate the MAC up to the host
stack. As Mark said, if this were a layer 2 QDIO connection or a
VSWITCH, then it matters a great deal. 

Get in the habit of having MACPREFIX set to a unique value for your org
in your SYSTEM CONFIG and/or a specific MAC address on the NICDEF in the
CP directory. This will be more and more important as time goes on.
