Yes. The new size is not visible until the guest detaches and reattaches the 
disk, or logs off/on.

CMDISK doesn't understand the Linux filesystem formats, so you should add a new 
disk, use the process on linuxvm.org for moving a filesystem to a new disk, and 
then delete the old disk.
