AFS. GPFS. Lustre. CFS. 

All deal much better with takeover after/during a failure.

If they're all within the same physical box, GPFS on VDISK works
*really* well. If they're on different boxes, then look at AFS or CFS.
AFS especially if the boxes are distant.
