More "-v" arguments will increase the verbosity. I usually don't worry
too much about the numbers and percentages, and just look to see if it
says "up to date" or not. One thing I've discovered is that I get
better results by running online_update manually and always specify
"security recommended patchlevel document optional" parameters.

Subject: Re: forgotten command - SPident - how to read the output

Thanks Mark. On our Linux server we got this result:
zlp1:~ # SPident -v
Summary # of packages (650)
Product/ServicePack conflict match update
(shipped)
SLES-9-s390 0 0% 421 64.8% 1 (1416
29.7%)
SLES-9-s390-SP1 3 0.6% 228 35.1% 0 (468
48.7%)
Unknown 1 0.2%

I am confused by the numbers and the man page was too concise to be of
help!
