A bunch of "rpm -V" commands looks to be in your future.

Subject: Yast broken after patch update - /usr was full?

After performing online update during which some patches did not work, I
found that yast was broken. Later I found that /usr was full and I added
more space. Yast is still broken. Any ideas how to resurrect?

Here is the output:
zlp1:~ # yast
/sbin/yast: line 115: set_lang_from_sysconfig: command not found
/sbin/yast: line 119: check_ncurses: command not found
You need to install yast2-ncurses to use the YaST2 text mode interface

TIA
