So this has immediately prompted someone at Sine Nomine to make an x-86 
abstraction layer for Linux on z/Series? :P

On a lark, I decided to download the source and see if it would build.
No way.  The source, as constructed now, is very much specific to x86
and ia64.

Xen is not available on zSeries.
