I have been trying (when I get time) to add a soft RAID to our TurboLinux
6.5 guest, running under VM 4.4.0.

After trying a number of things with the DASD I always get the same
result. I have been formating the DASD's before I try

to do a mkraid, by using dasdfmt. The format works when I am going to
just add a single DASD to Linux. However, I

am not sure what I should use otherwise. Here is the error message and
the RAIDTAB file I am using.

[EMAIL PROTECTED] /root]# mkraid /dev/md0

disk 2: /dev/dasdf, 2402640kB, raid superblock at 2402560kB
disk 3: /dev/dasdg, 2402640kB, raid superblock at 2402560kB
mkraid: aborted, see the syslog and /proc/mdstat for potential clues.

I looked in the /var/log/messages but it had nothing that would indicate
would had failed.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
                                                      Thanks,
                                                                Greg Evans
