You can't, really.  A "hang" means that the OSA is no longer processing
VM's outbound packets or stops responding to control requests.  It's
protection against hardware failure.

I just thought of a test scenario:  Take a big stick or pry bar and poke
the OSA really really hard, or hit it with a directed EMP.  That just
might do it...    :-)
