Ok, here is the problem I'm running into: I have a program that writes to stdout that I have running under MVS. It only reads from memory and writes to stdout. Yet I'm getting a warning that my user does not have an OMVS segment defined. The headers and executables are stored under MVS and as far as I can tell there is no reading or writing of files stored on the OMVS segment.
If I missed a header and it were looking to OMVS to pull the header, the program would fail to compile, wouldn't it? I stepped through the program under omvs with dbx to see if it read from a file or wrote to a file, and I couldn't find any instance of it. What other reason would an MVS program have to try to look at the OMVS? I'm running out of ideas of what to look for, so any help would be appreciated.
