I think an ssh terminal session is not the most usefull first function of the ssh suite to code. In the long run it would be nice for it to do a 'DUMB' terminal session. What I was thinking of the first function that should be coded is passing a command to the remote system.
sshcmd [EMAIL PROTECTED] "/etc/init.d/mysql stop" I would hope to get back the linemode responses from that single command. /Tom Kern --- Rod <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > So if you had something that ran from the client > with an encrypted stream to a pipe on VM > would that be acceptable? > > Also, what would one expect to get back if > one typed something like ssh [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Rod > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, > send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or > visit > http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390 > __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
