Considering the IBM terminology, the "VM Base Team" would be systems
programmers and "VM Development" is the folks in Endicott. So my
impression was too that he is talking about system admin work rather
than kernel development.

But I expect that Jim Elliott will aready have used to the corporate
gun for abuse of someone else's trademark... :-)
