Hi, Alan. We work with z/VM 4.4 (probably will migrate into 5.1 at the end of this year or beginning of 2007).
Now, to your questions: - We do backup z/VM data (user minidisks) and archive DB2/VM databases. We use DDR (for user minidisks) and DB2 ARCHIVEs into 3590 tapes.
