I left that part out to simplify the configuration somewhat, but the
important parts are the layer 3 routing issues. The VSWITCH is a layer 2
device, so whether the connection is inside or outside the zSeries box
isn't important to the routing design.

Second the motion. I find that the most important part is to have a
picture of what you're trying to accomplish so everyone involved can see
what the end state *should* be. After that, it's just details...8-)
