Yeah, I'm just not that good of an artist...8-)(*) I left that part out to simplify the configuration somewhat, but the important parts are the layer 3 routing issues. The VSWITCH is a layer 2 device, so whether the connection is inside or outside the zSeries box isn't important to the routing design.
