Hi Listserv, With the information I received yesterday i was able to find the hipersocket device in /sys/... I tried to configure the Hipersocket via Yast but was not succesfull so far.
when do dmesg i get the message: qeth: loading qeth S/390 OSA-Express driver ($Revision: 1.77.2.20 $/$Revision: 1.98.2.11 $/$Revision: 1.27.2.5 $/$Revision: 1.8.2.2 $/$Revision: 1.7.2.1 $/$Revision: 1.5.2.4 $/$Revision: 1.19.2.7 $ :IPv6 :VLAN) qeth: Device 0.0.9200/0.0.9201/0.0.9202 is a HiperSockets card (level: D3GF) with link type HiperSockets. qeth: set adapter parameters not supported on device 0.0.9200. qeth: IP fragmentation not supported on hsi0 qeth: VLAN not supported on hsi0 qeth: Multicast enabled qeth: IPv6 not supported on hsi0 qeth: Broadcast not supported on hsi0 qeth: Using SW checksumming on hsi0. So i suppose i have to set additional paramaters for the hsi1 but i can not find out which. I read all i can find in the manual Device drivers, features and commands march 28 2006 in relation to hipersockets... Anyone an idea?
