If you want to combine your computer geekiness with D&D, there's D&D
Online. I haven't played it yet, but a couple of my friends are
playing. They're trying to get me to switch over from EverQuest.
There's a free trial download at ddo.com.

Dude! You never played Dungeons & Dragons? Two 20-sided dice
(icosahedra) give you a number between 00 and 99 with an even
probability
distribution. Picture at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Icosahedron.
Octahedra and dodecahedra (12-sided) are used as well. We even
occasionally used the more famous hexahedron.

I thought all computer geeks played D&D .... :-)
