HI All This is what we have done sofar to get onto the server using YASt:
/sbin/SuSEfirewall2 test - generate and load the filter rules but do not drop any packet but log to syslog anything which *would* be denied Was then able to logon and run yast. Yast prompts whether to turn the firewall off or reconfigure. Turned it off. Logged off, logged on again and ran Yast. Reconfigured the firewall with the same options as another Linux server and logged off. Could not get back on again. Ran /sbin/SuSEfirewall2 test - logged on to yast and switched off firewall. Currently the system is running without the firewall enabled. Would this cause a problem. Thanks On 5/11/06, Nico Potgieter <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
