Does anyone run AFS or openAFS on a SLES9 (64-bit) server? We currently
use the AFS client in SLES8 and since we are upgrading to SLES9, need a
compiled version that works for SLES9. Unfortunately, Novell does not
support openAFS in SLES9 and has not announced support in SLES10. IBM also
does not support the AFS client on the zSeries platform at all....which is
amazing since AFS and the zSeries are both theirs!?!

I have been told by IBM that there is a third party vendor who can compile
and support an openAFS client that will run on SLES9, but so far nothing
has materialized with that vendor. Is anyone else running the AFS client
on SLES9?
