Just curious, have you tried to ssl enable that? We've been unable to
and have a ETR open on it.

Subject: Re: [LINUX-390] IBM HTTP SERVER for Suse 64 bit

IBM did not have a 64 bit version of its HTTP server. However, you can
install a version they provide on the web site. I installed IHS 2.0.47.1
The instructions are at
http://www-306.ibm.com/software/webservers/httpservers/doc/v2047/manual/
ibm/en_US/9ainstal.htm.

You will need Java and c libraries # ldd mod_was_ap20_http.so

        linux-gate.so.1 =>  (0xffffe000)
        libnsl.so.1 => /lib/libnsl.so.1 (0x555c8000)
        libdl.so.2 => /lib/libdl.so.2 (0x555dc000)
        libpthread.so.0 => /lib/tls/libpthread.so.0 (0x555e0000)
        libm.so.6 => /lib/tls/libm.so.6 (0x555f0000)
        libc.so.6 => /lib/tls/libc.so.6 (0x55612000)
        /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x56555000)
I did not actually see a pre-req document but the above worked on a
SLES9x
machine with one problem, /opt/IBMIHS/bin/envvars was not pointing to
the
correct IBM HTTP Server install path at LD_LIBRARY_PATH=.

This is how I started the server- /opt/IBMIHS/bin # ./apachectl start
Good Luck.

bit

I've tried on this site but I cannot find the 64 bit version!
I cannot find an IBM http tar/zip file with os390x in the name.
And I think that os390x is the extension for 64 bit?

Do you know if is this true?

ManuciaoThanks
