This technique was also used some time ago by some funny developers to use
the SMS (sudden motion sensor) in some of the latest G4 and now Intel
macs...  As an example, they implemented a feature to switch virtual desktop
by knocking the side of the screen.

But I don't see myself going into the server room, whacking the z9 three
times to launch Tripwire on all of our guests...
