For me, it worked to have /path/to/CD1 /path/to/CD2 /path/to/CD3 Etc. I just pointed the installer to /path/to/CD1, and it found the other CD images with no problems at all.

We've since downloaded the DVD, and will just mount that and point to it for our next attempt at SLES 10.
