Hi all,

me being a newbie ... I have already isntalled once RHEL4 in a
z/linux partition once, but the rhsetup-portion happened with
substantial
help and I don't quite remember all things done.

And now I want to install a second time in a second partition,
for a test system.

My problem:
when invoking rhsetup at some point there comes the question
about the install path.

There are 4 iso images, mounted in one common directory.
So I answered the question accordingly.

Then I got a message telling me that package XYZ cannot be found there.

I tried again, providing the path to the directory with the four
images unmounted - somehow nonsensical, but I tried anyway, with no
positive result. Then I tried again the directory where the images
have been mounted. Tried this and that - with no positive result.

There is no way either to interrupt rhsetup or
go back to the beginning, so all I could do was to close
the window ;-) - and no way to invoke rhsetup a second time,
resulting in a completely new boot procedure
(a slightly disgusting affair including HMC console and all that).

Can anyone help and tell why I was wrong? What should I do?
all I could recognise was that the package XYZ rhsetup "could not
find" is, I think, on the second iso image. But rhsetup did not
require a specific iso image, it requires a path. To what? to
all four images? or just to one at a time? which one? I don't know
how to continue.

For hints and tips and help always thankful:
