We've noticed that Domino machines that are running for extended periods
of time tend to run out of memory, suggesting a memory leak. We have to
reboot our virtual machine every couple of months or so for just this
reason.

The fact that the linux server is not allowing SSH connections makes me
wonder - are you able to log onto the 3270 console for the linux guest
under
VM?

If not - can you check if the linux guest is falling into the E list?
While
it is hung, issue the command INDICATE QUEUES and check if your domino
guest
is listed as being in E3 - if so, that could be the problem.
