This is an internal EDS repository that my team maintains.  We use
curl/wget to download any new maintenance from the Novell/SUSE web
servers every night.  We then use YOU on the individual servers to point
to our web server where the system lives.  (Note that this completely
ignores our efforts to migrate to the Opsware product that EDS has
invested in.  That's a completely different scenario, although our
repository system is the start of the process for that as well.)

The bad part is, all of this breaks with SLEx10.  I haven't figured out
yet how this needs to be adapted to work with zmd, rug, etc.  One of
these days when I have some spare time.  Yeah, right.

We just make a complete copy of the repository on specific cut-off
dates.  They can be whatever makes sense for you.  We then use that
directory name when we want to have multiple people synch to the same
set of maintenance:
