Were there multiple installs being performed? We saw these messages in a classroom environment when many were installing simultaneously. To alleviate this, we doubled the number of nfsd worker daemons from 4 to 8 on the NFS server. That is set in /etc/sysconfig/nfs. You might also check that the NFS server is not swapping.
