Here are the contents of my PARMFILE:
ramdisk_size=65536 root=/dev/ram1 ro init=/linuxrc TERM=dumb
HostIP=xx.xxx.xx.113 Gateway=xx.xxx.xx.1
Netmask=255.255.255.0
InstNetDev=OSA OsaInterface=qdio OsaMedium=eth Layer2=0
ReadChannel=0.0.7000 WriteChannel=0.0.7001
DataChannel=0.0.7002 Portname=OSAE400
Install=nfs://xx.xxx.xx.xxx/sles10/sles10x/CD1
UseVNC=1 VNCPassword=xxxxx
(I get the same error with OsaMedium=tr).
A ping from windows while the install is not running times out. Actually,
it doesn't matter if the install is running or not -- I have not
successfully ping'ed this IP address during the Linux install.
Thanks,
Steph

Stephanie,
(Mike and I) we are working on Virtualization Cookbook
for SLES10 right now. I haven't encountered this
problem. Can you send your PARMFILE ?
What happens if you try to ping that IP from your
windows while your installation is not running ?
