Morning,

I have some further information on this problem. It appears to be a
problem initializing the Java environment that comes as part of the
distribution package. From any prompt, if I issue a java -version, it
runs just fine, indicating it is IBMJava2 1.4.2.

The fully qualified path to Java in the distribution is as follows:

[EMAIL
PROTECTED]:/work/Disk1/stage/Components/oracle.swd.jre/1.3.1.0.0/1/DataFiles/Expanded/lnx390/IBMJava2-s390-131/jre/bin>

When I issue a ./java, I receive a Segmentation fault.

Any idea what this may mean, or how to resolve it?

Thanks,
Dave
