My SLES9 SP3 install is a 31-bit version. The Java that came with SLES
9 SP3 is a 31-bit version, as well.

My gcc is 3.3.3. Any idea where I can get gcc-2.97, or 2.95?

Thanks,
Dave

Are you running SLES9 64bit or 31bit? 9i is a 31bit app but will run on
a
64bit distro. You will need an old gcc (2.9.7 I think) and also a 31bit
JRE
+ all the 31 bit compats.
