I didn't have any problems.
Oracle 10g something something .1 (.2 is now available)
This was on SLES 9 SP3 64 bit under z/VM 5.1.
What is your install documentation? I had to piece together a couple
Oracle install docs in order to get things to work. Some docs had you
verify/update kernel parms, some didn't. And then there was the
required software releases.
You need the newer copies of: (they are included with SP3, but not
installed at the highest level)
gcc
gcc-c++
glibc-devel-32bit
openmotif
I don't remember doing a "dbca". What part of the installation are you
at?
