Yeah, I just found that out after reading this post: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=2904715&forum_id=4143
I had already downloaded the source and un-tarred it. The README file says this: "Download and install GT.M binary distribution from SourceForge if you do not have GT.M installed already. The build procedure needs an existing GT.M mumps installed on the machine." At this point, I started searching and found the post referenced above; then you confirmed it. I don't know whether this is worth pursuing or not, but at least I have learned a few things. Thanks, Jon <snip> [smw] Unfortunately, there are a number of assembler modules, a code generator, and a few other platform specific modules which will not allow a Linux for zSeries version of GT.M to be built from the sourceforge sources. [smw] GT.M is available for a number of platforms other than Intel x86 Linux but most are available via sourceforge. [smw] If you want to discuss your needs for GT.M, please contact Bhaskar: ks.bhaskar at fnf.com. </snip> ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
