In z/VM 5.3 you will be able to ATTACH the real hardware VT220 console to

I trust we're talking about a emulated VT220 console that can be
accessed from the HMC or SE desktop? You need to redefine "easy" for
me then, in the context of z/VM providing the virtual raised floor.
How would I provide one of the Linux admin folks VT220-like access to
their wounded penguin without risking they step on another system? Can
they just telnet into VM without tn3270 support and logon to their
virtual machine to get the effect? Or dial?
