Actually, everyone can call off the dogs. I've got copies of both (there's very little difference between them) and installed them both.
It's easy to forget what we used to have to put up with, until you have to manually configure EMM386.EXE to walk around your video RAM and ROM and load itself into the space reserved for "Adapter RAM". You would also think that maybe, just maybe, an OS that you install from CD would, you know, include CD-ROM drivers. But you'd be wrong. Thanks to all who replied.
