Hi,

I am running SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 9 (s390x) - Kernel 2.6.5-7.244-s390x
and I get some problem with LVM.

Under Yast2 I do Add Group (name test) and then I add a full pack disk 3390
After I do Add in order to create a Logical Volume named dubois , I format with
ext2 and mount it at /dubois.

The results is :

Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/dasdd1 2.3G 1.7G 490M 78% /
tmpfs 115M 4.0K 115M 1% /dev/shm
/dev/dasde1 2.3G 79M 2.1G 4% /backup
/dev/dasda1 2.1G 1.6G 392M 81% /sles9master
/dev/mapper/system-nfs
                      9.0G 5.9G 2.7G 69% /nfs
/dev/mapper/test-dubois
                      2.2G 20K 2.1G 1% /dubois
LINUX0:/etc #

I get the following fstab file :

LINUX0:/etc # cat fstab
/dev/dasdd1 / ext3 acl,user_xattr 1 1
/dev/dasde1 /backup ext3 acl,user_xattr 1 2
/dev/dasda1 /sles9master ext3 defaults 1 2
/dev/dasdb1 swap swap pri=42 0 0
/dev/dasdc1 swap swap pri=42 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts mode=0620,gid=5 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
sysfs /sys sysfs noauto 0 0
/dev/system/nfs /nfs ext2 acl,user_xattr 1 2
/dev/test/dubois /dubois ext2 acl,user_xattr 1 2
LINUX0:/etc #

Every thing is ok, but when I shutdown and reipl the linux, the LVM is
corrupted ...

I get the following message
