Having a little trouble getting remote access to the server db on RHEL4 I see I have to edit /etc/exports but it looks as though I need to specify a terminal address. That could be a problem. We are all on a VPN and obtain a unique address each time we log in to our network. I've tried using wildcards for the portion of the address that doesn't change but I consistenly get permission denied on the linux client when I try to do the mount.
I do restart nfs after each change to /etc/exports and have made sure all is running.
