Not just that. Don't remember how to decode the 9672 models, but even
the latest 31-bit kernels require zArchitecture. With some kernel
modifications I could run the SLES8 kernel on old hardware, but making
SLES9 was beyond my skills (the lack of a CHSC instruction in this
case).
