Mike,
Well, that's sort of the problem. I've installed from the s390x
iso, but need the 32 bit libstdc++ rpm from the s390 iso. It seems that
I should have been able to do "yum install libstdc++.s390", but the yum
repo for s390x doesn't contain an rpm for that. So, I took the s390 rpm
from an iso image and tried to install that via yum and rpm, but they
both think it conflicts with the s390x rpm.
