I ended up shutting down the z/VM Guest and rebooting and it started where it left off. It continued to reboot several times without any indication that it was going to reboot. Quite confusing but in the end, it is installed and running. I have some other problems now that I must work through.

It installed all the software and there was some screen with check marking going on. I walked away from my VNC session for a drink of water and when I came back my VNC session was gone and the sles10x installation guest was down. I assumed all was well and rebooted and selected the boot newly installed system. Now I get the following: Enter your root partition (e.g., /dev/sda3) -dasda1-> /dev/dasda1 *** Invalid root device. Enter your root partition (e.g., /dev/sda3) -dasda1-> The root device should be /dev/dasda1. What am I missing here. Thanks for any insights.
