I have word from EMC that the DMX (Symmetrix) is supported (look in the ESM for FCP over Ficon) and no RPQ is required. I'm trying to get clarification on the Clarion. I would push your EMC reps on this as we have escalated fairly high -- you might be able to get different response now.
