Hi list,

I have several questions...

We are in the planning stages of GDPS (for z/OS) and wondered if GDPS (or a
similar solution) would work for SCSI (z/VM and Linux).

Is anyone running z/VM on SCSI and taking advantage of Metro
Mirror/GDPS/Flashcopy?

Is anyone running SLES9 (as a z/VM guest) talking directly to SCSI FBA
(DS8100) and taking advantage of Metro Mirror/GDPS/Flashcopy?

Is anyone running SLES9 on SCSI emulated as 9336 Mod 20 FBA DASD (DS8100)?
Does this work with Metro Mirror/GDPS/Flashcopy?

First glance makes me think controlling access to SCSI disks by emulating
9336 would be more advantageous than each Linux controlling access. Does
anyone have experiences they'd like to share?

thanks in advance.
