Well, seldon is a RHEL4 AS running on an xSeries box, and, yes, the PHP _is_ 4.3.9... so we used a back-level version from the mediawiki site. I _have_ noticed that openSuSE 10.2 has mediawiki available right on the distribution DVD and is *easy* to bring live once the system install is completed. Being a masochist I installed that on my home system even though, to my eye, it was a daft idea. I haven't done enough digging on the Ubuntu/Kubuntu side of the house, however. -------------------- John R.
