That's another way to do it, in addition to the <ESC>[...H hack. It's inelegant, but requires less changes to the applications. But we were talking about convincing Novell and RedHat and others to create a CMS-friendly, or in this case a 3270-friendly, installation tool. For that, crack open the code, add the logic to properly handle mapped inbound traffic, retain prior behaviour, and you're done!
