Perhaps, but we'll need a lot more information. - Did you grant access to the VSWTICH for the guest? - Are you using SLES9 SP3, or some other Linux distribution? - What is your z/VM version and maintenance level? - What does a #cp q nic details (from the Linux guest) show? - What does a #cp q lan details (also from the Linux guest) show? - What does the output from "ifconfig eth0" show? - What does the output from "route -n" show?
