We are running TMON for z/OS and TMON for CICS TS. Unfortunatley I have to
upgrade both of these products at the same time because they share
something called strategic services. Also to note would be documentation that
is not up to date, service methods that wouldn't be what you'd expect.
And some of the "features" just don't make any sense. It is sysplex aware
whether you want it to be or not. Does it meet our needs? I guess so. We
don't do more than real time monitoring with it. I don't pay the bills so I
don't know what we saved by going with ASG.
