But your performance monitor does.... and even more. It also tells you how much paging occurs on those VDISKs (something you need to know for your sizing because you want to avoid serious paging of VDISK). And it tells you how much I/O occurs to them so you can set up alerts for when the unused disk gets used (and you need to review your sizing). You really need performance data to configure such an environment. Or you get plenty of hardware and configure by fear.
