I got the SUSE Linux 10 SP1 installed under VM on our Z9. The basic system seems to be working well. I am having some problems, however, installing some web based email servers. Both of them make use of the ioncube loader which comes included with the programs, atmail and webmail. Both behave the same. The say that they cannot find the ioncube routines even though they are right where they belong! They alternatively complain that the enable_dl flag in php.ini needs to be set on, which it is. It seems that both are looking for the parts in all the wrong places!
