It's been done already, with a product called ISX.  Most of us assumed the 
company and product had fallen off the face of the earth several years ago, but 
they've recently resurfaced.  I don't know if they were still around all that 
time, or what, but they seem to be "back" as it were.  I have no idea if their 
product will ever be successful, but you never know.
